Common ground on DCV010515D

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DCV010515D, TPS65130

I need to obtain +15/-15V from an available +5VDC rail, and the DCV010515D seems to be the answer.

We also found TPS65130 as an alternative, but for the features of this project we prefer to avoid all those lots of peripheric components required by this second option.

However, we need that the ground on the input side be electrically connected to the ground on the output.

THE question is: other than loosing the isolation feature of the DCV, is there any problem to interconnect the input and output grounds? I know it sounds weird to do that on an isolated IC which is expensive and specific, but for this case it will really help us!
