Hi,

I recently bought the EVM for the TPS61165. This comes with a USB interface adapter unit.

The EVM works fine but I was hoping to make use of the USB adapter for quick test of the dimming capability and analysing the EasyScale protocol.

When I plugged the USB cable into my 64-bit Windows 7 machine it found the device but the software provided with the EVM would not identify the cable.

I then tried my 32-bit XP machine and this time the software detected it. It then said I needed to upgrade to V18.?.? firmware so I clicked ok. Half way through the update I saw an EEPROM error message and now the USB cable is no longer detected.

Is there a recovery process for this unit? Would TI consider sending a replacement as I purchased this EVM?
