Is it possible to ZETA using LMR10510?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LMR10510

Hello everyone. I need ZETA DC-DC from 3,7 V to 6.4V at a current of 50mA.

LMR10510 suitable for this? According to 7V datasheets will not damage the chip, I also need 6.4 V.

  • Hi Vitalij,

I'm not to clear about your Vin (3.7-6.4V?) and Vout (?) conditions.  The LMR10510 Vin is rated with an AbsMax of 7V, but it's operation is only guaranteed up to Vin = 5.5V.  In theory, yes it can be  operated in a ZETA topology as long as the Vin Absmax is not exceeded since the PMOS must be rated to VIN + VOUT.  The FB pin is rated to 3V, so that's another pin you need to watch out for.

    Regards,
