    Yes. DIM pin is to control the average brightness of all LED strings. If you want to dim each LED string separately, you may use LM3463. LM3463 can support maximum 4 individual PWM dimming control input.

    2)Can we use with total of 5A ?

    Yes, since LM3464 is external switching, you can use with total of 5A as long as the external MOSFET switch can sustain such current.
