Hi

I have aquestion about TPS2543.


Question

Handshake will be required even if if we will set DCP auto?
I think when DCP auto, D+ output 0.6V and short 200Ω return to D-.
So I think DCP auto dont need handshake.

So i think only if we change to CDP/SDP need the handshake. It is right?

    The handshake depends on the protable device.

    TPS2543 DCP_Auto integrate divider 1, divider 2 and shorted mode, for non-CF device, need handshake or enumeration signal to complete the mode change.

    For CDP/SDP, need handshake to distinguish CDP and SDP.
