TPS63061 on 12.6V

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS63061

Hi guys,

Please advice could TPS63061 withstand continuously 12.6V supply voltage and 1A output current?

The application working range is 4.2V - 12.6V, which means a pure DC-DC Buck can't be used.

Although it is rated to 12V max, according to the Absolute maximum ratings Vamax is 17V.

Here we're talking about 0.6V above the 12V limit ( 3 x Li-Po ).

The problem is that the design has been finished and the working range of 4.2 - 12V has been tested, but with fully charged Li-Pos, the max voltage will become 12.6V.

Best regards

Nick
