Regarding Bq24013 , Li-ion charger, wondering if some one knows the TE pin can disable the Pre Charge Timer as well?

    Hello,

    I discussed this question with one of my colleagues and the consensus is that the pre-charge timer is not disabled when /TTE is used.

    However if you want to run in pre-charge for longer than the timer will permit you could toggle /CE to clear all of the timers and start a new charge cycle allowing the device to continue to run in pre-charge.

    It should be noted that the purpose of the pre-charge timer is protect the circuit and battery in the event that the battery is damaged.
