Hi,
I am trying to use at high switchign frequency the CSD96370 part driven by the LM2737 buck controller, as in the NEXFET-EMV-762.
Both CSD96370 and LM2737 are rated to run up to 2MHz operating frequency but despite that the resistor stack in NEXFET-EMV-762 (R11 to R18) allow operation up to 1.2MHz only.
To achieve the 2MHz operation I have then soldered a ~11.5KOhm resistor between the FREQ pin and ground (as per eq.3, page 10 of the LM2737 datasheet). 2MHz operation has been proven by looking at the SW node on the scope.
When trying to measure the efficiency of the system, I am getting up to 6% variation in efficiency between an ambient temperature of 25C and 50C, which I do not see when for example I run at 1.2MHz.
Is there somethign wrong in the interaction between CSD96370 and LM2737 at frequencies higher than 1.2MHz?
