Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UC3846, UCC3806, UCC27200, LM5045

Can UCC3806 be used for Full Bridge Topology? I initially decided on UC3846 and then found UCC3806 similiar with the later having advantages. While the product page of UC3846 lists Full Bridge, that of UCC3806 does not.

Can someone clarify whether UCC3806 can be used in full bridge topology?

    The UCC3806 has the same functionality as the UC3846 and can be used in a full bridge configuration but it has only a dual output drive and requires something like the UCC27200 high side/low side driver to drive the full bridge MOSFETS.

    Please consider the LM5045 as an alternative. This has a 4 channel high speed high current driver outputs with additional protection features that make it an excellent choice for most full bridge applications
