Hi,
I decide to use "TPS54295" in power section of a new design for an industrial application. I designed it according to the application documents and tested it. All things are OK except the over-current mode. In the component's datasheet, it is mentioned that the components return to normal functionality after removing short-circuit (or over-current). However, in my tests, when it goes to over-current protection mode, it doesn't return to normal functionality unless I disconnect and connect its input power again. Would you please help me what should I do (or if it is required, what should I add to my design to solve this problem).
By the way, I guess that I could use "TPS54395" instead of TPS54295, because it uses Hiccup topology and it will be restarted after it goes to over-current protection mode. Is it true? (Because I haven't tested TPS54395 yet).
Thanks,
