LMZ31710 and LMZ31503 switching frequency

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LMZ31503, LMZ31710

Hello,

My customer uses the LMZ31710 and LMZ31503.

He sets the switching frequency as follows.

LMZ31710 : RRT=487 kohrm , fsw=300kHz

LMZ31503 : RRT=105 kohrm , fsw=780kHz

He has a question "How about a variation of fsw ? "

Could you give me a data or calculation value?

Regards,

Naoki Aoyama

  • When setting the switching frequency using an externall resistor the tolerance is +/-20%. See the switching frequency spec in teh electrical characteristics table of the datasheet.

If a tighter range is required, the device can be synchronized to an external clock.

  • Hi J Amigo,

Thank you for your fast reply.

There is only 500kHz setting  at the LMZ31710, 330kHz setting at the LMZ31503 fsw spec in the datasheet,

so I wonder how about another setting.

I understand the tolerance. I will feedback to my customer the information.

    Thanks,

    Naoki Aoyama
