Dear specialist

Our customer has some questions about layout.

1. Does recommended layout intend what all layers under LMZ31503 is needed same form like Figure44?
Or If LMZ31503 placed top layer , only 2nd layer is required like Fiqure44?

2. In this recommended layout AGND can't connect with others in the layer.
Thus if AGND connect with only PGND of around output capacitor , are there any issues?

    Hi Alpha,

    1. No, the recommended layout drawings only show 2 typical layers. There may be other PGND layers, Vout layers, Vin layers, routing layers, etc...

    2. AGND should remain isolated from PGND on all layers except for the top layer, and only be connected at one point on the top layer as shown in Figure 43.
