Fuel Tank Boosterpack User Guide, illegible text

The Fuel Tank Boosterpack (BOOSTXL-BATTPACK) design has a schematic diagram, but slightly low resolution one. I'm unable to discern some of the sub-script(s) here:

RISET = KISET/ IISET; RISET =R1

KISET = 385 A ohms (as per data sheet)

IOUT is currently set to 250 mA? Is this the output (charging) current?

  • Iset = Kiset/Riset = 385 Aohm / 1.6kohm = 241mA for the charge current.  This is the maximum available current to charge the battery and power the system if one is attached to the BAT pin.  If the system load is equal to or higher than this, then the battery will not charge.
