Dear Sir

Good days,

The TPS2556 suggest Rilim rang is 20K~187K, but when we set up output current limit is 0.5A.

the calculate Rilim is about 220Kohm. May we check with you if Rilim over 187Kohm, is there have any risk?

    The datasheet states "The recommended 1% resistor range for RILIM is 20 kΩ ≤RILIM ≤ 187 kΩ to ensure stability of the  internal regulation loop."

    This statement implies a loss of current limit accuracy and a non-ideal response to output overloading.

    How about the TPS2552 for the lower current limit application?

    TPS2556 use in pad USB charger current need around 500mA to meet USB spec to avoid host side over current.
