Advice with TPS2100

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS2112A, TPS2100

Hello all,

I designed a power switch for three different sources using the TPS2112A. However, I've discovered the older TPS2100 and I might switch to that one as it has lower quiescent currents and the price is also lower. Although I have few questions on this device:

-As the imputs will be hot-pluggable batteries and USB, I would want to know if I have to pull down the inputs so the device works properly when there is not battery connected. I mean, can the device achieve switching to Vin2 when we unplug the Vin1 if we do not have pull down resistor? I am not sure about this after reading the datasheet.

-Is there any caution to take if we cascade two of these switches?

Thank you for the support
