How to combine TLC5941 5V with 3.3 V ARM

Hi all,

I'm powering the TLC5941 with 5V. So low level is 0.2Vcc (from 0 to 1)V and 0.8Vcc (from 4 to 5)V.

I want to interface it with STM32F4 ARM. It has 3.3V CMOS levels for output. The output high for it is Vdd - 0.4 = 3.3-0.4 = 2.9V. 

Not enough for TLC. Is it possible to convert levels? Or the only way is to power TLC from 3.3V.

I saw i EVK board for TCL5941. It is powered from 5V and the CPU is on another board (TUSB3210). It is powered from 3.3V.

How the interfaces are combined there?
