LM26003-Q1 Thermal Shutdown Threshold

I would like to confirm the thermal shoutdown threshold of LM26003-Q1.

In the datasheet, there is typical value 160 degreeC.

Our customer got the request for maximum and minimum value from car OEM.

We (they) don't need the gurantee of them but want the actual value (ex min: about 140, max: about 180 (hysteresis 20 degreeC).

Could you please give them?

Hello Atsushi,

From Design data, the value of TSD ON is between 170-180 degree C, with a 40 degree hysteresis.

I have questions.

1. In the datasheet, TSD specification is 160 degree C typ.. Did TSD shift from 170 - 180 degreeC to 160 degree C?

2. For the hysteresis, which is "40 degree C" +/- 20 or +/- 40?

3. Can I estimate TSD 160 degreeC +/- 20 (or +/- 40)?

Hi Atsushi -san,

The TSD thresholds for the part is: TSD ON: 170-180degC, TSD OFF: 130-140degC, with hysteresis of +/40degC. The range was raised from 160degC to accommodate automotive specification.
