Does ISO7640FM offer channel to channel isolation or only input to output isolation?

Hi guys,

the question is very simple, I`ve read the datasheet but my logic of this phrase "Each isolation channel has a logic input and output Logic Levels buffer separated by a silicon dioxide (SiO2) insulation" is not very well understood.

So do I have channel to channel isolation? I want to make a H bridge and one engineer from a forum, says that I need 4 isolaters for each channel, to have channel to channel isolation.

Hi,
We don't have high voltage isolation from channel to channel. Isolation is between input and output of each channel.

Hi again,

thank you for your quick answer. I`ll make the H bridge with single channel isolators to have channel to channel isolation. Just a quick question, I want to use UCC27531 as mosfet driver and use the new SIC mosfets and ISO721MD as isolator. In this material www.ti.com/.../slua669.pdf I have the info needed to make a half bridge and drive this UCC27531 as HS and LS. But for a Full Bridge is there something I must take into account if I want to make Bootstrap Bias Supply with Capacitive Signal Isolation schematic?
