we are using TPS2066DGNG4 load switch in our design,but the chips fails in some of the boards. During the board bring up and functional test it was working fine, but it failed on some of the boards during field testing. While we analaysed the failed IC we found that the Overcurrent (OC1&OC2) and enable(EN1&EN2) pins were pulled to LOW state by the load switch itself and outputs are disabled eventhough there is no load present.
We also retested after reseting the input power and checked for any temprature rise on the chip,still no output and heatup. Then we replaced the failed one and board is working as expected
Maximum load on port 1 and port 2 are 30 and 250mA respectively.
please help us to find the root cause of failure!
