NiMh charger using BQ51013A and BQ2002T

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ2002T, BQ51013A, BQ51013B

Hi!
I am a newbie in wireless power, so I am afraid to design a bad layout regarding EMC guidelines.

My project contains a 5cell NiMh charger (5xAAA 800mAh) using the BQ2002T. --> www.ti.com/.../sluu007b.pdf

Because of exposure of water I choose a IP65 plastic enclosure and try to add a wireless solution.

Is there a tested and approved design for the bq51013A/B, using a double layer PCB ?

Do you have EAGLE Files, such as  .sch and .brd?

Thank you in advance!

Wolfram

  • Hi Wolfram,

    Please refer to the below user guide for bq51013B, which is essentially the same as bq51013A but is WPC 1.1 compliant. We recommend the "B" version in any further designs. In this user guide, you can find some guidance on the board layout for this device. We have PADS files that can be shared with you if you need.
