Here is the response from the product engineer:

The FIT per Mil Std (I presume is referring to Mil HDBK 217) is a system level FIT. The FIT for LM26001 that can be applied for is 1.8, available at http://focus.ti.com/quality/docs/singlesearchresults.tsp? &templateId=5909&navigationId=11213&appType=folders&searchType=orderableOption&partialSearch=false&mtbfType=true&orderablePartNumber=LM26001MXA/NOPB

Thank you for answer, but let me confirm one point.
Does it means MIL based FIT calculation is only applied for system level and not applied for device level ?.
And TI’s method (1.8 for LM26001) is based on Arrhenius model ?
