Battery Chargedr IC

Hi,

Can Anyone suggest device for below requirements:

We need 5V/1.5A supply to run our system. We are planning to make it portable.

So there is a need for power management sub-system, which should have following feature

 1)    Should supply sustained 5V/1.5A power (from wall mount/built in battery/external battery pack), built-in boost would help. Lower voltages are not necessary.

2)    Should have hot-swap feature, preferably two input power sources (ex wall mount and USB power pack) other than the Li-ion battery.

3)    Built-in charging required.

4)    Battery level indication required.

Can we use BQ24271 device?

Rgds,

Uma Mahehs
