LM5025 / about the condition of CS1(CS2) Prop

Hi Team,

I was asked about LM5025 from my customer.

There is the condition about "CSx Step from 0 to 0.4V" for CS1/CS2 Prop in datasheet page.5.

Does the typical value of these specs change if apply more than 0.4V?
For example, the condition of "CSx Step from 0 to 0.6V" etc..

If the answer is yes, Is there any data about it.

  • Yaita-san,

Since the input to the CS pin a step (i.e. square wave), it should already be providing enough over-drive to the comparator to reduce the propagation delay to a minimum. So I would not expect the prop delay to reduce any further if the step amplitude is increased to 0.6 V.

However, the prop delay will depend on the shape of the CS input waveform and the level of overdirve for the internal comparator.

    Thanks,

    Bernard
