Hello,
I have a question about TPS63020.

My using condition is below when the battery is present.

Vin=2.1V
Enable=ON
Vout_Setting=3.0V
Battery_Voltage=4.35V

In this case, the Battery_Voltage is higher than the Vout_Setting.
Is it no problem that I apply 4.35V to Vout-terminal, in spite of Vout_Setting=3.0V?

If the device operates with PS = disabled, the device will try to regulate to 3.0V and therefore transfer energy from the output backwards. If the device operates in PS = enabled, it will accept a higher output voltage than the voltage setting.

Please make sure that the voltage at the output is within the recommendations (up to 5.5V). If you stay within this boarder, the device will not suffer.

From an Application point of view, please consider that, for the case that PS = disabled, the device transfers energy back. If the source cannot sink this energy, the input voltage goes above the recommended value and can destroy the device.
