Hi,

I am designing a constant current source for micro ohm meter ... Can you suggest me a part which gives me 10mA to 1A constant current output

    I don't say this is the best solution but a device TLC5922 is a constant current driver with 7bit DAC.
    It has 16ch of 80mA outputs and these outputs can be paralleled (= 16x80 = 1.28A).

    If this idea works, please check TLC59xx LED drivers with a feature "dot correction" for more variations.

    I guess you came here "LED driver forum" for this kind inputs and I hope this input may help you.

    The IC is good but still the error is too large which will add up to a large value.. If you can suggest a simple precision programmable current source.....
