I am having some problems with my bqMTester setup. I am using the HPA169 Multi-Tester and EV2300 in a dedicated housing with external LEDs (powered by an isolated DC-DC converter off the 5V power supply). When I try to run the Station Setup program I get
"Board 0 was either disconnected or is in use by another program. Please make corrections and try again."
followed by
"Communications Error -1 trying to read board firmware version."
and then
"Communications error 2 trying to read ID for board 0"
Note that this is on a computer which formerly was able to operate the exact same setup without problems. I have tried running the setup on a different computer (both running Windows XP Professional, not Win7) and it works fine, but when I connect it to the original computer it gives the error messages listed above. I have tried swapping out the EV2300, the HPA169, and the calibrated board under test, all with no effect. I have even tried uninstalling and reinstalling the bqMTester software suite to no avail.
Can anybody help me?
