Problem with protections fet DSG and CHG with BQ76920

Hi, I'm having a hard time with the protections mosfet, right now I'm  having around 8 Volt on CHG when I connect the charger but as soon as I start charging and increase the constant current this value drop to almost -2 Volt and the N-chanel mosfet heat up.In the other hand I get zero voltage on DSG all time nothing happens there. So I would appreciate if you could give some suggestions about what I missing. But the way I have been using 30N06 as N-chanel. Thank you in advanced.

But the way  I'm using the recommended circuit in page 26. But I've tried everything nothing worked.

Best Regards

  • The MCU must turn on the DSG and CHG outputs to control the FETs. Be sure to clear any faults before writing the FETs on. If there is a UV or OV fault, the fault will turn the FET output off again after the delay time. Check the I2C commands to the AFE to be sure they are being acknowledged and check for response from the DSG/CHG pins corresponding to the I2C commands.
