BQ24260 watchdog timeout problem

Hi,

I am using BQ24260 for one of my projects. Currently when the device is on ,the battery regulation threshold is set as 4.2V and the watchdog is cleared every 15 seconds.but when the device is off ,watchdog timer will expire and BQ24260 will be in DEFAULT mode.so the battery regulation threshold will be reduced to 3.6V.In that case battery won't charge in device off condition. Is there any way to disable the watchdog on BQ24260.
