I have found the ucc25600 controller for a welding inverter but is this chip capable for this>?  resonant welding inverters are much better then hard switched versions. I do not now if there exists a soft switch forward converter and a chip for that.

I have read a lot about fase shift, but when set duty cycle not to high and a high death time is needed?.
