Hello

I have two questions about UC28023.

1.This device seems to shut it down when I apply signals more than 1.4V to ILIM/SD terminal (9pin),

will a latch work then?

2.I design circuit that Vref is applied to ILIM/SD terminal(9pin) as trigger a signal in ILIM/SD terminal(9pin).

Does this usage have any problems?

Hi Yokota-san

I do not understand question 1. The threshold is 1.4V so signal greater than 1.4V will trigger the comparator.

2. the ILIM/SD pin is rated to Vref + 0.3V in the ABS max table, so connecting it to Vref as a trigger should be ok.

I'm sorry my explanation isn't good.

UC28023 is shut down when the voltage of over 1.4V is applied, is this device latched then?

Hi Yokota-san,

Looking at the block diagram I think it will shutdown the IC discharge the SS cap and restart with a Soft Start.

I do not see a latching function associated with the ILIM/SD pin.
