Team,

Please tell me about the following inquiries of LM5021-Q1 from customer(TDK).

1. On 1st page(Features) of DS, there is the following description about the temparature range.

"– Device Temperature Grade 1: –40°C to 125°C Ambient Operating Temperature Range"

but, in the recommendede operation conditions, it has been specified as –40°C to 125°C for Junction temperature.

The Junction temperature range is correct?

2. The peak source(IO_SRC) & sink current(IO_SNK) of OUT have been specified as 0.3A/0.7A of typical value only.

Customer would like to know the minimum value for them. Can you show it?

If it is impossible, Can you show the distrubuted data of both patameters over some lots?

1. For the temp range question, I has asked for more info from the product line, I will post the response when I receive it.

2. For the Io(src) and Io(snk) question, I have requested recent test info from the Product engineering team, again I will post the response when I receive it.

1. I am still waiting for product line response to the question.

2. Since the Io(src) and Io(snk) specs are only typical values in the datasheet, they are not tested in production. However, the rise and fall times were tested during device qualification. I have received that data, and it showed reasonable spread, 6-sigma is +/-28% for rise time, and +/-24% for fall time. So from this, it can be inferred that the source and sink currents should also have a similar spread. However, we cannot guarantee this, it is only an indication of performance.
