Hi,

Can someone point out the difference between TPS84A20 and LMZ31710? I saw that LMZ is preferred but I could not figure out the reason for that.

    TPS84A20 is identical to LMZ31710. The only difference is the part number. It was renamed LMZ3 to become part of the Simple Switcher power module family which has LMZ1 & LMZ2 power modules. EVMs are available for the LMZ31710 part number, but not for TPS84A20.
