I was advised that this is the correct forum to post this question to about my MPPT project.

I'll link to it instead of reposting. Basically I have a stateless analog MPPT designed from the TL1451A due to concerns over long term radiation susceptibility (use in a cubesat). I've identified several possible failure mechanisms causing me to have low yield rates on my MPPT's following professional pick and place assembly.

Any help is highly appreciated! I will mark this answered with the other post simultaneously when appropriate.

Hello Bryce,

We did TID testing on the LM6142, which is the dual version of the quad LM6144. It started failing at 10 krad.

The testing we did was a long time ago. The products have since been moved to a new wafer fab. It is possible that the radiation response will be different for the current material.

Thanks Kirby, The group I'm helping performed their own radiation testing in 2012 to show it was suitable for our uses. Maybe the fab change helped that.

FYI I posted a final response to this TL1451 and LM6144 project on the original forum post. Might not be a root cause but it's a fault space reduction and so far overall better design and testing.
