bq24167 Charge status

Dear all.

Our customer made 25's ES boards.
Only one board, even if there are no battery, it will be during charge state.

1) No battery
2) BAT=4.2V and CHG=Low (pull up)
3) No charge detection phase (Charge detection phase works for other 24 boards)

Would you please give me any comment.

Are you saying that battery detection is not working, i.e., there is no square-ish waveform on BAT? If so, is input current limit 100mA, during which termination and battery detection is disabled?

Yes, battery detection is not working.
When input current limit is 100mA, does battery detection become invalid?

Yes, battery detection is disabled if input current limit is set to 100mA.

Our customer said power supply is only IN. (USB1-3 are pull down)
Still is it affected?
