Replacement for the MCP1643

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM3561, LM3414, LM3410

Hi team,

I am looking for a replacement for the MCP1643. The input is a single cell alkaline battery. The output is this LED: CLP6C-FKB-CM1Q1H1BB7R3R3.

I took a look at the LM3414 and I am not sure that the LM3414 part really compares to the MCP1643. I have also taken a look at the LM3561 and I am not sure that the LM3561 is the best replacement either.

If you could direct me to the best replacement for the MCP1643 that would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

Jared

  • Unfortunately we do not have anything in LPP that can do a single cell alkaline application. The lowest input voltage device we have is the LM3410, but it has a minimum of 2.7V so it would require a Li-Ion cell minimum and it's probably overkill for these current levels anyway. I've forwarded this to some folks in another group that do more low input voltage, lower current LED drivers so hopefully they will have a better answer for you.
