We are proposing to use BQ24113 Li-Ion battery charger chip with removable batteries. However the batteries we are intending to use could accidentally be inserted incorrectly (i.e. reversed polarity). Is there any mechanism inside the BQ24113 which would detect this and prevent the batteries from being charged? We are concerned there may be a potential fire risk in this case.
