I am going to write a Labview program for production, the target is BQ2085-v1p3 and BQ29311PWR via the USB module EV2300.

I found "bqTester102SourceSetup.exe" in the PDF document, but don't know where I can find this file?

or any souce code for using EV2300 SMBus?

I too would like to be able to develop some automation tools ....

best I can tell though this tool kit is targeted at VB (and perhaps qb) applications only.

Ideally I'd like to interface to a scripting language like python while manipulating a gauge connected to the EV2300. Is this possible?

I suppose I could write a custom wrapper to translate the python calls through a vb application to call the ocx but that seems rather convoluted and likely to have issues.

Don't need (and actually would prefer to not have) any visual elements to the ev2300 control. Any chance there is something to support scripting?

Unfortunately, this is the only library we have to work with EV2300. My thought would be using a wrapper as well.

I can working EV2300 with VB6 perfectly. But how to work with VB.NET?

I got a COMException when calling OpenFreeDevice() function.

Is there any sample code for VB.NET
