What is the difference between TPS62095 and TLV62095?

I've looked through the datasheets for the above two devices, and can't find anything notable enough to warrant separate part numbers or the cost difference.  It's possible I've missed something -- does anyone here know what the key differences are?



  • Yes, these are pin to pin devices with the same functionality. The differences are in the electrical characteristics table on page 5. The TLV version has less specifications and less min/max values.

    I recommend the TPS62095 if your design needs to meet certain specifications over temperature, etc. If you just need the cheapest power supply you can find, use the TLV62095.
  • I noticed those, but figured there had to be more. So I'm guessing it's the same part, and the cost difference is due to the level of manufacturing testing performed, since time is money!
