have a question about TPS54541:

In case of the condition Vin < Vout, does this device support reverse current protection
- when it is powered and switched off via it's EN-Pin?
- when Vin = 0V, and Vout is up to 5V?

If Vout is less than Vin with EN disabling the TPS54541, the high side body diode can conduct. The input voltage can be one diode drop below Vout.

What is the source of the pre-bias voltage on the output? You could conceivably add a blocking diode in series with the output, but there is an efficiency price to pay.

Hello John,

the source of the pre-bias voltage on the output is another power-supply that may also power the board.

In that case you probably do want a blocking diode.
