For the LM3492 a dimming ratio of 1:1000 for a DIM frequency of 3 KHz is mentioned in the datasheet.
It it safe to state that a ratio of 1 : 10000 is also possible at a frequency of 300 Hz ?
The minimum LED current pulse width is 300 ns so when a dimming frequency of 300 Hz is used, this
gives a ratio of 1 : 10000.
This question is raised because for the LM3492HC it is explicitly stated that a dimming ratio
of 1:10000 is possible but this is not the case for the LM3492
A customer, using the LM3492 wants to be sure that a dimming ratio of 1:10000 is possible with a dimming
frequency of 250 Hz.
