TPS3897 - To Monitor 5V supply

Hi,

We have a requirement to monitor  +5V power supply , When the voltage drops below 4.5 volts we need  to indicate the status via LED and the same input is give to 1.8V tolerant GPIO.

Right now we have selected this part (open drain) for this solution.

We would like to get a clarify with you guys for a better solution.

    Hi Antony,

    It seems to me that the TPS3897 should work in this application, so in order to help me provide you with a device better suited for this application I'll need some more information on what your key needs are for the supervisor. Another thing that might help me is telling me what aspects of the TPS3897 are not ideal for your application and why.

    HI Antony,

    The TPS3897 can do this. Other choices could be the TPS3710 or TPS3839 (TPS3710 can be much more precise).

    I have posted the TPS3897 schematics in other thread , can you please take a quick look and let me know your opinion.
