TPS40400 CNTL voltage range

Dear all,

My customer checked TPS40400EVM-351 and found that CNTL terminal voltage is 5.1V.
There are no connection for CNTL terminal and he understand the terminal is pulled up.
But Absolute Maximum Ratings of CNTL terminal is MAX 3.6V. Why?
I checked spec sheet 7.4.2. its threshold level is TTL.

My customer only need to know that how about the voltage max. range of CNTL terminal.

Because he want to use for disable TPS40400 by using open collector comparator.
Derating is required 90% for Absolute Maximum Ratings so that he think 5.5V comparator
cannot to be used.

Please teach me the voltage range of CNTL terminal.

    The CNTL pin is pulled up to BP6 by a internal current source (several uA). The absolute maximum voltage of CNTLx pin is 7V, the data in D/S is not correct. We will fix this error when we update datasheet next time.
