LM22671 - Vin=24V, Vout=-12V, Iout=0.1A, Fsw=830kHz

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM22671

Hi all

Would you mind if we ask LM22671?

<Condition>

Vin=24V

Vout=-12V

Iout=-0.1A

Fsw=830kHz

How much is the inductor fitable?

On calcuating, L is 330uH.

Capacitance is 100uF.

Is our recognition correct?

Kind regards,

Hirotaka Matsumoto

  • Hello,
    The LM22671 is a voltage mode controlled device. A larger inductance will move the double pole in at lower frequencies and end up requiring a larger output capacitor and/or mess up the stability of the design. I would suggest sizing the inductor for 30% ripple at 500mA load. I hope this helps.
