Hello,

I'm looking to use the TPS92410 as a dimmer control. The device specifies that it is capable of analog dimming and states in section 7.1 of the datasheet that it's possible to use a 0-10V input to control the dimming. However, I cannot find any mention of this in the rest of the datasheet or the PMP6021 documentation. Additionally, from reading section 7.3.6 and 6.3 it sounds like the dimming voltage can only be between 0-3V when using the ADIM pin, but could be larger if using the TSNS ping for dimming control, correct?

Can you please confirm if the 0-10V dimming control is a possibility and if so, is there any documentation on it?

    Hello,

    0-10 volt control would be done with a resistor divider from the 0-10 source going to either ADIM or TSNS depending on how you want to configure it. ADIM can shut the MOSFET off when pulled low, TSNS will not. ADIM and TSNS are the same level, 0-1.5 volts (linear range). A scaled 0-10 can be connected to TSNS and a shutdown FET/NPN used on ADIM to shut it off. The threshold for ADIM shutoff is very low so it has to be driven correct.
