BQ25898C EVM with USB-to-GPIO

Hi,

I am trying to access the BQ25898C EVM through the TI USB-to-GPIO adaptor and getting a connection error "Error Code:2" "Msg: Not able to find a free communication adaptor"

now the adaptor light is green, and I downloaded the USB adaptor sllc288,

also made sure that the I have windows .net version 2.0 running

help :(

the bqStudio software is only designed to work with EV2300/2400 not USBtoGPIO.

So i ordered EV2300...... and it doesn't work!!

I have the same issue as the thread below, if the EV2300 is not supported and there are problems with it why is it recommended?

i tried them on windows 7, windows 10, 32bit drivers, 64 bit drivers....with no result

now i need to order the EV2400 board, more time and money........should have recommended EV2400 only
