RTC does not keep time after 2 days on the tPS65930?

My customer is using the TPS65930 device with a 1 Farad capacitors as a backup battery. it seems that after 2 days it does not keep track of the time. The voltage on the backup terminal is 1.88V and it seems that it loses the time. I looked at the data sheet and it should work as long as the backup battery stays above 1.8V? Any sugeestions or any way that we can demonstrate this to the customer on an EVM?
