We're doing some test and evaluation with the BQ27621EVM-G1 using Windows10 and EV2400.

For the past two days everything was going fine and communication has been working.

At end of day the EVM was all of a sudden not detected by PC.

We've reboot PC, checked all connections, measured Vdd and checked battery connections but the EVM is no longer detected.

Has anyone run into this kind of thing?

In the meantime we are still able to use the same EV2400 to communicate with BQ25898EVM.

Any suggestions?

The fuel gauge bq27621-g1 EVM is working again but I didn’t do anything special other than just kept trying to run it… is there any possible reason to cause the stop-working issue?

By the way, what does the green or red mean in a register’s bit?

You may have to unplug and plug the EV2400 back to the USB port on your PC if you don't have communication between the EV2400 and the EVM. The bq27621 EVM connects reliably in my setup.

green means that the bit is 0, red means it's 1.
