Hi, I have one question to ask.

In my application, our DC/DC may be has sink current in output. So could I know the max sink current of TPS63000 and tps62085. Great thx.

    Thx for your reply, pls check below answer

    input voltage range:3.3V

    output voltage: Adjustable like 1.8V

    maximum output current/ load profile:Maxim Current 800mA

    type of the load: Resistance,about 2 Ω, The resistance one side is DC/DC output and another side is 3.3V DC.

    what is the source of the current on the output of the TPS63000 and TPS62085?

    Hi,

    1. is there any reason to select buck converter with maximum output current 3A if the maximum load is 800mA?
      • Do you expect higher load current than 800mA as transient load?
    2. If there is resistance load, what is the source of the current on the output of the converters?
    1. Another side is 3.3V DC, does it mean input voltage of the converter?

    question1, No, we just need 800mA maximum load(steady-state).

    Hi,

    TPS62085 is not able to sink current because it is working in PFM and PWM mode. The mode of operation depends on the load.

    TPS63000 has negative current limit but there is no specification for negative current limit.
