TPS92075 as a simple Boost converter. Looks like all I have to do is not connect the PFC connections, and the chip will work as a Boost converter. Is this correct?

    The TPS92075 will not work well as a boost controller because it regulates the switch current. That works well for a buck, but not a boost. But if you need a simple boost controller for those specs (it depends on max LED current as well, but it can do a decent amount) you can check out the TPS92560.
