Enabling of LMZ31710RVQR using open drain output

Dear Team,

We are using LMZ31710RVQR generate 1V output , Here TPS3897 is used to enable the LMZ31710RVQR .

Can it possible to connect open drain output of TPS3897 to LMZ31710RVQR without any pull up to open drain like below ckt.

Yes, an open drain supervisor like TPS3897 is good for controlling the ON/OFF of the LMZ31710. No pull-up is required.

Hello Arrigo,

Thank you for the quick response.

If I use pull up is there any problem for LMZ31710 because I need same open drain pin to enable another device there I need pull up resistor strictly.

Here I need to connect 1 open drain pin of TPS3897 to 2 devices. Is there problem if i use pull up

Yes, this circuit will work with a pull-up on the INH/UVLO pin.
